Markaz Al Salam, in close collaboration with the South Sudan National Youth Union (SSNYU) and with the support of Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA), has successfully conducted a significant half-day Factsheet Validation Session. This gathering marks a crucial step forward for 2025.

The primary focus of this session was to review and validate findings regarding youth representation in decision-making processes. This is not just about numbers; it is about assessing where young people stand at both the national and state levels. The goal was to ensure accuracy and consensus on the data that reflects our current reality.
The session brought together key stakeholders, youth leaders, and partners in a unified effort. We appreciate the active engagement and valuable feedback from every participant. The strong collaboration demonstrated during this session highlights the shared commitment to elevating youth issues.
With the validation complete, the 2025 factsheet is set to serve as an important advocacy tool. Moving forward, this document will be instrumental in promoting greater youth inclusion and active participation in governance across South Sudan. This is a practical step toward ensuring our voice is heard in decision-making spaces.
